About 10,000 members dump APC for PDP in Benue.

About 10,000 members of the All
Progressives Congress APC, defected
to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Saghev Guma Local Government Area of Benue State on Saturday.
The decampees, were led by Magdalyne Dura,NEPAD.Special Adviser
to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals.
Leading the decampees, Dura said they defected
to the PDP to join forces with Governor Samuel
Ortom to stop the planned annihilation and take
over of the Benue.
She said, “Let me assure you that Governor
Ortom has defected to save us the Benue people from being killed by  herds men.The governor Ortom would have stayed with the  presidency. She said"I will stand with Ortom anywhere he goes".
 
The defectors were assured equal responsibilities in PDP.
Hon. Shaapera stated that their
return to the party was as a result of the lack of
commitment which the All Progressive Congress
had shown during the attack on Benue communities.
All the decampees announce that they are ready to re-elect Governir Samuel Ortom in the next general election.
